Sit back and enjoy the ride as Janet takes you on her adventures from touring as Snow White to becoming a Hollywood director. A coming-of-age story sixty years in the making: Snow White Bites Hollywood . . . then Hollywood bit back.

JANET DAVIDSON

I am a member of Actors Equity, Screen Actors Guild, Restaurant Workers (actors have to wait tables), IATSE (as a Broadway usher), and finally found my home as a member of the  Directors Guild of America, where I co-chaired the first DGA Women’s Steering Committee. In Hollywood I worked on Remington Steele, Cagney & Lacey, Judging Amy, Caddyshack, Murder She Wrote, and many more. I have served as Vice-Chair of WIFTI (Women in Film and Television International).

I moved to New Mexico to work with Shirley MacLaine and played a role in establishing a new film industry in New Mexico, where I also cofounded New Mexico Women in Film.

Currently, I am retired and reside in Palm Desert, California.

What an interesting life I had.
And how I wish I had realized it sooner.
